AIMS

The African Financial & Economic Crimes Academy aims to transform Sub-Sahara's capacity to tackle financial and economic crimes by -

  • Significantly increasing the number of people with relevant practical skills;

  • Greatly enhancing the relevance, effectiveness and perceived value of training;

  • Adapting international standards and procedures to local contexts;

  • Promoting greater cross-border and cross-disciplinary collaboration;

  • facilitating a range of ancillary innovations.

THE TEAM

The founding management team is uniquely qualified to develop this ground-breaking initiative.

We know the subject matter, in both a legal and a practical sense. We understand the dynamics of law enforcement and governance in Sub-Sahara. And we have much experience of the regional training market.

We also have access to the insights and experiences of many of the foremost figures involved in the region’s fight against FECs.

ADVISORY PANEL

Africa is as vast as it is diverse. To help ensure that the Academy’s programmes are suitably informed by both local and international contexts, insights and priorities, we have appointed an Independent Advisory Panel.
